Hi, I'm Aimee Bateman

FOUNDER COACH AND SELF-LEADERSHIP SPEAKER

I started as a recruiter who saw too many talented people stuck, not because they lacked skill, but because they didn't know their own value.

So I built Careercake to change that. What began as a YouTube channel to help people see themselves differently became the UK's #1 career development platform, reaching 10 million+ professionals across 42 countries.

BUT... building it nearly broke me.

I raised venture and angel investment across two continents in a world where less than 2% of funding goes to female founders. I scaled fast, burned out hard, and learned that the real work isn't just building the business, it's building the woman who builds the business.

In 2022, I successfully sold Careercake and now I help female founders navigate what I wish I'd known: that your mindset, not just your metrics, determines your success.

I've taught 3 million people on LinkedIn Learning, been featured as an expert on BBC and Sky TV, and now I'm on a mission to make sure no founder feels as alone as I once did.

I'm also a mum to a toddler and two rescue dogs, living proof that you can love your career and your life, unapologetically.
